So…. I was in the Chicago Reader a few months ago and figured i would put this here so all can see.
Enough bragging, here it is.

Found while looking through some of the pics I took while out in Portland for the Puddle Cutters Rally. Just a short snip of the remaining mopeds going for the Sunday ride. Enjoy.
So i just picked up this video camera for my helmet. Checkout some of the short clips of what I captured Sunday afternoon into evening. I only wish I had this earlier so I could have captured more of rally season. Also gotta work on getting the camera oriented correctly so you don’t have to tilt your head to get the full experience. Anyways…
Excellent weather in Chicago has me doing a good amount of cleaning and prepping for the long cold months to come. Part of that was disassembling 3 Garelli SSXLs i acquired a few weeks back.

So I spent most of the afternoon tearing these apart, ready to be cleaned and painted. Much work still to be done but once everything is all apart, its easier to see where the build(s) are going. It also feels good seeing 3 dentless tanks and 3 seats all lined up on the workbench.

Next step is to get to cleaning and send one of the frames off to get some welding done.
One gem I found was this sticker. 20 MPH just seems so slow to me.
